Fund Development

It's about sharing smiles, listening to stories and showing a child they matter! It's about the small things...school lunches, help with homework, telephone calls to check in and just hanging out together.

You can help us make a positive impact by making a gift to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Arkansas. It costs approximately $1000 to make one match, but what a difference one match can make!

BBBS Receives Technology Grant

Northwest Arkansas Community Foundation granted Big Brothers Big Sisters $2,500 to enhance technology at the local agency. These funds will allow BBBS to better support their in-house operations.

What your investment does for our community's children

• Enables BBBS to carefully recruit, interview, and screen each volunteer before matching him/her with a child.

• Enables BBBS to carefully interview each child and guardian to ensure a quality match.

• Provides each match with close support by a professional case manager.

• Sponsors activities for matches at various times throughout the year.

• Sponsors "waiting little" activities for the more than 100 children waiting to be paired with an adult mentor.

• Enables BBBS of NWA the opportunity to expand our programs into new schools, neighborhoods, and communities.

• One time/Quarterly gifts
• Memorial & Tribute gifts

"Millions of America's children are in need right now. They need caring adults in their lives to mentor and provide a safe place for them. They need to be given positive alternatives to the lure of drugs, alcohol, crime, violence and early sex"

You are using an older web browser that is not compatible with basic Web standards.

We recommend that you upgrade to one of the following browsers:

Windows or Mac Users:

Netscape 6+, Opera 6+, MSIE 6+

Linux OS:

Netscape 6+, Konqueror

In an effort to create a more organized World Wide Web, the W3C has created many new Web layout standards. The key focus of their effort is to provide the best possible interoperability between the different browsing programs available.

In the days of the browser wars between Netscape and Microsoft, many hacks were propagated by the competing companies. However, today these hacks have done more to hurt the Web than to help the battling companies. By downloading and installing one of the programs listed above, the Web will be one step closer to eliminating these hacks and bugs.
